Continental Drift - July, 2010

Welcome to the July edition of Continental Drift.

While we have been "busy" this month we have not been as productive as we would have liked. It is a fact of life here in the Northeast of Brazil that things rarely get accomplished at the first attempt (unless everything is under ones personal control!).

We continue to focus on our tropical fruit collection this month but have been obliged to cancel plans to expand our stock of Acai images.

Since the last newsletter.....

A selection of new and old images have been added to the "Recent Additions" section, and more images will uploaded by mid-July.

Library sites

Now that our technical issues are out of the way we have resumed the development of our library site portfolios at Alamy and Photographers Direct and hope to accelerate the process this month.

London Photographic Association

We have been a member of this association (among others) for several years. We now plan to develop a portfolio for promotion on the LPA site - have been unable to do so in June.

Alternative sales outlets

We are closing down a couple of our sites (Shoot Candids, Shoot the Best, and Shoot Images Gallery). At the same time, we are considering the re-establishment of our miniStok site ( www.ministok.com ) with the intention of loading / selling macro stock images that do not fit our existing library profiles.
